Kennel Technician

Almost Home Pet Retreat is located in Conroe, TX. We provide dog boarding and daycare in a fun and safe environment. Our top priority is safety, for both employees and dogs. After that, our goal is for all of the dogs in our care to have a great time and go home tired and happy. We are currently hiring 2 part time Kennel Technicians.

Job duties include supervising playtime, assisting with meals, ensuring all dogs have fresh water throughout day, taking pictures of the dogs, maintaining cleanliness in play yards outside (pick up poop, clean small pools at end of day, clean & fill water buckets) outside and keeping indoor facilities clean (sweep, mop). Employees are expected to get to know all of the dog's personalities, their likes/dislikes and their favorite activities.

Previous experience in animal care is preferred. This is a part time position, and employees need to be available to work on weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 32 per week
