**Job description**

NTL provides state-of-the-art medical laboratory tests and related services in Midwest regions of the United States through our Central Laboratory and Processing Center.
- **Inventory Control Coordinator**_

Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
- Negotiate with vendors.
- Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Using and managing inventory via the Fishbowl Application Software.
- Handling all incoming supply requests for clients and closely monitoring quantity requested in relation to samples we have received to determine proper allocation of supplies.
- Handle all outbound packages via FedEx.
- Keep records and track all technology loaned out to clients. Responsible for ALL purchasing needs and keeping records of the PO’s.
- Assist the laboratory and main office with essential supplies.
- Assist the fleet manager with overseeing the delivery drivers for outbound supply request for clients.
- Working with the sales team to set up new clients with initial supplies.
- Cost comparing of key vendors to ensure most optimal and efficient pricing.
- Moving and storing equipment and office furniture.
- Responsible for all receiving and distributing of inbound deliveries.
- Rotate stock and minimize product waste.
- Handle all laboratory stock Inventory and periodically negotiate with lab vendors.
- Develops Inventory Levels or stock supplies within NTL Laboratory’s inventory control system.
- Follows Protocols and Practices to facilitate supply inventory and procurement.
- Reconciles, adjusts inventory numbers to match supply levels and physical inventory amount, monthly within our inventory system.
- Restocks point of use inventory from our main laboratory location.
- Is present during all physical inventory counts.
- Performs all duties in a professional and confidential manner, maintaining a good rapport with all laboratory personnel, physicians, vendors, patients and visitors.
- Communicates any outstanding inventory issues to management in a timely efficient manner.
- Works closely with receiving to facilitate the delivery of pertinent laboratory orders to be disseminated for clinic dispatching.

**Desired Criteria**
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- Knowledge of laboratory policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills

**Skills needed**
- Strong computer, organizational, and documentation skills; excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and collaboration skills; excellent attention to detail; work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude; learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with NTL Laboratory company policies.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

$22 - $25/hr.
