**About the team**

SAP’s Global Value Advisory (GVA), a key component of SAP’s Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) group, is focused on supporting SAP customers and the 600 SAP Value Advisors across our regions as they conduct collaborative value-based customer engagements.

The VA team has been a competitive differentiator for SAP for almost two decades and continues to play a leading role in setting industry-leading value-selling practices in the technology industry. The team supports tip of the spear engagements across the globe hand in hand with the regions. The Global VA team is responsible for developing thought leadership content, value-based tools, customer engagement methodology and enablement for the field, and provides support for strategic customer engagements to help articulate the business value customers can achieve with SAP innovations.

**What you’ll do**

**Position Title: SAP iXp - Customer Engagement Innovation**
**Location: Chicago, Illinois**
**Expected start date to end date: March-April 2024 (6 months)**

**In this role you'll**

This position will report to the Global VP of Customer Engagements and Innovation and is focused on three key areas.

**_
Customer Engagements:_**

Support customer engagements in collaborations with global engagement managers, regional practitioners, account teams, and external stakeholders.

Solicit field feedback on requirements and opportunities to improve how we engage with SAP customers in value-focused engagements. Translate requirements into engagement methodology, tools, and projects that help scale value advisory.

Champion the development of original thought leadership and concrete value add from own engagement experiences or by capturing the same from the field

Methodology:_**

Own the Customer Value Journey and ensure its execution in customer engagements w/ focus on results achieved and customer outputs driven.

Design and scale and VA model that supports volume with velocity.

Work with the Global VA functions to ensure the successful roll out of new programs at a Regional / MU level.

Act as a conduit between the Global VA team and select Regions to ensure best practice sharing and adoption.

Innovation:_**

Identify key industry trends and changing industry dynamics to evolve SAP VA consultative selling practices, ensure on-going relevance and continued VA leadership position in the industry.

Identify new ways to engage with customers to support their journey with value and business transformation at the center. Pilot and scale those initiatives efficiently and rollout based on pilot results.

**Role requirements**
- Track record of top performance and continuously executing on best-in-class consulting or analytical engagements in investment banking, consulting, educational environments, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills that translate to design awareness of Powerpoint and Excel
- Hypothesis and data-driven mindset to make analytical decisions for the customer and the VA field.
- Ability to lead cross-functional, global teams for successful project execution with ability to motivate and influence individuals beyond direct field of control.
- Ability to take complex topics and synthesize into clear, concise executive summaries. Support, develop and deliver presentations to senior customer and SAP leadership teams
- Ability to work in virtual set-ups with 10-20% travel requirements when travelling is safe.
- Excellent written oral, and presentation skills in English is mandatory
