Laser Operator

Overview:
**Duties**:
- Operate and monitor laser cutting machines to cut, trim, or form parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of metal parts
- Perform plasma cutting
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for accurate part production
- Experience with setting up, adjusting and operating Co2 and Fiber laser cutting machines for sheet metal parts
- Knowledge of different gases as they pretain to the machine
- Familiarity with sheet metal materials and handling
- Ability to use hand tools effectively in the manufacturing process
- Ability to lift and manage large sheet stock for laser cutting
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
