Ambulette Dispatch/dispatch Manager

**Job description**

We are one the leading medical transportation providers in NYC. We are looking for a full-time Dispatch Manager/ Dispatcher to join a fast-growing medical transportation company. In this position, you will be managing a team of dispatchers and be responsible for dispatching ambulettes to serve the non-emergency transportation needs of the local elderly and disabled community. The ideal Dispatcher must have the ability to plan, organize, and maintain route schedules and adjust them when needed. The Dispatcher(Manager) manages the fleet of drivers and works closely with facility transportation coordinators, patients, and families.

**Requirements**:

- at least 3 years of experience in transportation dispatch and in depth understanding of creating routes/schedules for transportation.
- Geographical knowledge of 5 boroughs
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Experience in team management and being an effective leader
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You must be dependable, professional and responsible.
- Computer literacy
- Ability to multitask

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
