**Contract duration
- **13 weeks
**Shift -** 7:00am to 7:30 pm
**Experience required**: 1-year behavioral health experience required
**First time travelers accepted **(Y/N): are accepted
**Scrubs**:Royal blue
**Facility location -** 71 Haynes Street Manchester, CT 06040

**Description**: Mental Health Diagnosis with co-morbidities of addiction. May have wound care, CPAP, Foley's, Diabetics. If CPI certified please provide a copy of the Blue certification card. If not, we can train. Will also have Mandatory Health Stream courses assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- RN License
- BLS Certification
- CPI Certification
- Experience in psychiatric care
- Knowledge of behavioral health and psychiatry
- Proficiency in catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding
- Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems
- Strong patient care skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Utilize expertise in catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on their needs.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to accurately document patient information and treatment plans.

Manchester is also a very historical area with a lot of history including Gillette’s castle which sits up high in the mountains on a cliff that overlooks the Connecticut River. 45 mins to New Haven which is another great city (Yale New Haven) 2.5 hours outside of New York City 1.5 hours to Boston.
