We have an _immediate_ need for a full-time, exempt **Boston Program Manager**. This role is responsible for overseeing programs that are developmentally appropriate in increasing opportunities for all girls and addressing the systemic barriers that impede girls' success, particularly girls in low-income communities and girls of color. As a strategic facilitator for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the School-Based Programs, the **Boston Program Manager** possesses the ability to motivate and inspire passion in delivering impactful, mission-oriented programming. The salary range for this position is **$65,000 - $75,000**, commensurate with experience. As a full-time role, the **Boston Program Manager **is eligible to participate in the Girls Inc. benefits program.

**POSITION OVERVIEW (What we're looking for**)

The **Boston Program Manager** ensures the alignment and quality of programming with the Girls Inc. mission, policies, and goals for the Boston School-Based Programs. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role provides leadership in all aspects of planning, delivery, evaluation, and expansion of School-Based Programs in the Boston Public School system. The **Boston Program Manager** works in close partnership with the leadership team.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES (What you'll be achieving)**

At a minimum, the **Boston Program Manager** will be responsible for successfully carrying out the following essential functions and duties:
External Responsibilities:

- Establish plans and procedures for increasing the number of schools and girls served in the Boston Public Schools and Community Centers.
- Represents Girls Inc. to various stakeholders and other partners/funders.
- Represents Girls Inc. at community events and appropriate meetings to support fundraising and partnership opportunities.

Partnerships:

- Oversee the Partnership with Boston Public Schools at the District and School level.
- Build and strengthen school site relationships through regular meetings with school staff and after-school partners to ensure program effectiveness and alignment with school and program goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of School-Based Programs in Boston.

Programming:

- Oversee the daily operations of School-Based Programs in Boston.
- Work collaboratively with school and program staff to identify, recruit, and provide services to girls.
- Train and supervise Program Facilitators to deliver high-quality programming, including Girls Inc. programming, youth development practices, Social-Emotional Learning practices, and Positive Behavior Intervention.
- Ensure quality programs and instruction by supporting and aligning the facilitation and lesson plans of program facilitators to program goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contract, and safety obligations related to all programming.
- Ensure student and parent information is entered into Trax8.
- Work closely with Program staff to ensure high-quality community events for students, and families (Family Nights, Field Trips, Special Events).
- Facilitate programs when necessary.

Related Affiliate Activities:

- Participate in community coalitions and committees.
- Participate in staff meetings and conferences; work collaboratively with staff to meet goals.
- Participate in fundraising and volunteer engagement events.
- Engage in approved continuing education opportunities.
- Serve as an ambassador for the agency.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (What you'll bring along)**

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in nonprofit management, education, business administration, or another related field.

Experience: Minimum of two years of experience working with elementary school-age youth representing diverse cultures, ethnicities, and abilities.
- Experience supervising staff, including the ability to coach Program Facilitators.
- Knowledge of and commitment to designing and developing gender-responsive programs.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills; strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Superior organizational, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Boston community, nonprofit community, and/or Boston Public School system.
- Ability to travel frequently to various worksites and to work some evenings and weekends.
