**Job description**:
This is a 3rd Shift Position: Operate sweeping vehicle that cleans streets and parking lots of trash, leaves and other.
- Ensure supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating sweeper.
- Performs pre
- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
- Ensures vehicle is operating correctly while on the route and notifies Supervisor of any concerns.
- Understands and practices operating best practices.
- Immediately reports any unsafe situations/service calls to Supervisor before attempting service.
- Notifies Supervisor of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.
- Provides a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers.
- Completes electronic work orders with
- Sweeping parking lots, blowing curb lines, emptying trash for all contracts.
- Routes to include Dubuque, Manchester, Anamosa & Maquoketa IA & Galena IL.
**Requirements**:
Valid drivers license
Ability to work 3rd Shift
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (required)
Work Location: On the road
