Powder Coater

**Job Title**:Powder Coater

**Reports To**: Plant Manager

**General Job Description**:

- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning and masking as necessary
- Operate any tools needed to prepare surfaces for powder
- Ensure even coverage and proper adhesion of powder coating
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired results
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience & Other Requirements**:

- High school diploma, G.E.D. or its equivalent
- Prior experience with powder coating
- Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Must have proven professional qualities including strong initiative, integrity, and the desire and ability to work effectively as a member of various work teams.
- Must be able to interpret documents such as safety guidelines, method sheets, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Work overtime as needed when business demands require.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time.
- Work environment includes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators.

**Schedule**:

- Full time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
