As an Acupuncturist at Health Atlast Hillsborough, NJ you will play a pivotal role in our integrative healthcare approach. You will provide acupuncture treatments to patients with various health concerns, using traditional Chinese medicine principles to promote balance, wellness, and healing. Your expertise in acupuncture techniques and holistic medicine will complement our range of healthcare services and enhance our patients' overall well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Assessment**: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health histories, symptoms, and treatment goals to develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans.
- **Acupuncture Treatment**: Perform acupuncture treatments using sterile needles to stimulate specific acupuncture points and meridians, promoting the body's natural healing processes and restoring balance to the body's energy flow (Qi).
- **Herbal Medicine**: Recommend herbal remedies, dietary modifications, and lifestyle interventions to complement acupuncture treatments and support patients' overall health and wellness.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients about the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture therapy, and self-care techniques to empower them to actively participate in their healing process and maintain optimal health.
- **Collaborative Care**: Collaborate with our healthcare team, including physicians, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care and integrate acupuncture therapy into comprehensive treatment plans.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- **Professional Development**: Stay current with advances in acupuncture techniques, research, and best practices through continuing education, professional workshops, and participation in professional organizations.

**Requirements**:

- Licensed or certified as an Acupuncturist in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
- Proficiency in acupuncture techniques, including traditional acupuncture, electroacupuncture, auricular acupuncture, and other modalities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care delivery.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality.
