Production Team Lead

Charles & Alice is a leading international processor and co-packer of applesauce and other natural fruit-based products. Besides our Charles & Alice brand of chilled and ambient packaged fruits, we also produce a host of national retailer brands. We are experiencing consistent sales growth and expansion of our production operations. We are seeking to hire a Production Team Lead for our US headquarters and food manufacturing plant in Lancaster, PA. **This position requires a flexible schedule as all 3 shifts will need to be covered as needed**.

Job Duties:

- Conducting pre-shift meetings with production personnel as needed;
- Conducting or participating in leadership meetings as needed;
- Scheduling of personnel on the production lines;
- Completing end of shift production reports;
- Completing QA production paperwork accurately;
- Relieve all production areas as needed;
- Completing continuous improvement projects;
- Identify cost saving projects and initiatives;
- Completing PSM (5W2H & Red Tags);
- Overseeing Ok Start program completion;
- Overseeing the 5S housekeeping program;
- Perform QA Facility audits as needed;
- Train and coach Team Members
- Practice and promote positive employee relations and teamwork.
- Work safely and follow all safety and other Company policies.
- Ensure proper operation and take good care of Company tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Prior leadership experience
- Good PC skills, especially MS products;
- Excellent communication and team building skills;
- Machine operator experience, preferably in a food manufacturing industry;
- High attention to detail;
- Basic math skills;
- Excellent attendance record;
- Ability to read, write, and understand English; and
- Ability to stand the entire shift and be able to bend, lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or GED preferred

**Experience**:
**- **Minimum of 5 years of supervising hourly employees in a manufacturing environment-food manufacturing preferred**

Physical Requirements:
