Nanny/household Manager

**Family Dynamics and Needs**
- Dad, Mom and Daughter age 8
- Two dogs: young Alaskan Klee Kai and an older Pug/Shih Tzu receiving hospice care.
- Afternoon care 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) + 5 hours of Household management tasks (flexible schedule), 1 weekend per month (approx: 48 hours of continuous care), occasional travel (domestic + international - passport ready), summer time will require more weekly hours.
- The family desires a Therapy Nanny who will become part of the family (an extension of the family to help the family thrive in all areas).

**Responsibilities**
- Household Management:_
- Assist with dishes, laundry, pantry maintenance, decluttering, and organizing.
- Grocery shopping for staples, snacks, and child’s school lunches.
- Assistance with packing and preparations for family trips. The family employs a housekeeper (deep cleaning).
- Childcare:_
- Supervise and engage with an 8 year old child, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Organize and tidy toys, bedroom, and art supplies.
- Assist with the afternoon routine and school pick-ups.
- Collaborate with reading and math practice, providing encouragement and support.
- Accompany scheduled piano lessons and encourage practice sessions.
- Pet Care:_
- Provide care and attention to 2 dogs, including feeding, walks, and companionship.
- Safety and Security:

- Remain vigilant in public settings, ensuring child’s safety and well-being.
- Exercise caution and awareness of surroundings to mitigate potential risks.
- Additional Duties:

- Occasional assistance with recognizing and separating old clothes and toys for donation.
- Uphold family values regarding integrative medicine, nutrition, and holistic health practices.

**Qualifications**
- Experience:_
- Previous experience in household management and childcare.
- Familiarity with Montessori/Waldorf philosophies of child development.
- Swimming experience (water certification is a plus)
- Math and Reading tutoring experience (grades 1-3) is a plus.

**Requirements**:

- Transportation:_
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Reliable vehicle (ideally a 2018 or newer, full size sedan or SUV)
- Car Seat/Booster is provided by the family.
- Safety Consciousness:_
- Adherence to strict safety protocols, particularly in public settings.
- Awareness of potential dangers, especially related to child safety and security.
- Health and Wellness:_
- Respect for family preferences regarding nutrition and holistic health practices.
- Comfort with spiritual and metaphysical beliefs within the household.

**Additional Information**
- Mileage reimbursement provided while on the clock.
- Assistance with domestic and international travel may be required from time to time.
