**Duties**:

- You will requisition and make purchases of supplies, material, equipment and services in compliance to all applicable supply/service acquisition procedures, policies and regulations.
- You will conduct market research by soliciting quotes from vendors either orally or in writing.
- You will track and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the status of all requisitions and purchases.
- You will resolve all discrepancies with services and material orders and arrange for rework, replacement, exchange, or return for credit of defective, damaged and/or incorrect material.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilize supply and purchasing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions to make purchases involving specialized requirements; 2) Conduct market research and thorough knowledge of local supply market and sources of supplies and services to ensure support for construction, renovation and repair of facilities; 3) Obtain, review and comprehend technical data, supporting documents, and reference material from various listings, supply catalogs, and manufacturers? catalogs to ensure material and equipment specifications meet customer requirements; 4) Prepare and maintain records, reconcile reports/data, research and reconcile discrepancies relating to actions such as material ordering, shipping, tracking, receipt and invoices.
