- We are hiring Skilled Concrete Construction Foreman. The Foreman is responsible for directly supervising, overseeing and coordinating activities of construction work in the field or on assigned projects with the Superintendent.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Plans daily work schedules, determines manpower levels, material quantities and equipment requirements, and any other needs
- Estimates and orders concrete materials in advance of daily schedule
- Manages the crew in a manner that optimizes production while adhering to OSHA standards, contract compliance, company policies.
- Advises manager and/or project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, assists in resolving such problems as required
- Analyzes and plans installation and construction of structures
- Prepares and/or reviews construction field forms (i.e. equipment inspections, field activity daily log, waste/truck tracking logs, etc.)
- Exercises proper care, maintenance and operation of company equipment; bring to the attention of the superintendent or shop of any maintenance needs.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and material production, monitor and report equipment, material usage and man-hours by creating and submitting accurate field logs for approval.
- Examines and inspects equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
- Reads specifications such as blueprints to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures.
- Maintains daily photos of the work progress and reporting on Raken - no exceptions.
- Received, stores, inventories and photographs all onsite deliveries.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Directly supervises 5-8 employees within the field.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directly work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid driver license with a good driving record
- 3+ years concrete foreman/supervisor experience
- Good written and oral communications
- Thorough understanding of blueprint reading
- Have a strong work ethic, high level of workmanship with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Have good people skills, able to manage, motivate and discipline when necessary
