**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records for the company, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Process and maintain payroll records, including employee deductions, vacation time, and sick leave.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparing financial reports and analyzing trends.
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding account balances and payment inquiries.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with periodic inventory counts
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the company's management team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Associates degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to small businesses is a plus.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
