Ambassador for Children and Families is a small business in Chicago, IL. We are agile, professional, rewarding and our goal is to First Church of The True Believers in Christ is a non-for-profit organization that was established in 1969. Since than birthed and agency Ambassador For Children And Families that was establish in 2000 by our Founder and CEO Venus Stutts. A.C.A.F has co-developed over 100 units of affordable housing, provided social supportive service, as well as a resource for Affordable Housing rental assistance for homeless and low-income residents (RRH program). Our service philosophy is agile on advocating for everyone who walks through our doors to be treated with dignity and viewed as equals. We are participant/client centered. We provide a variety of high-quality social services that support and strengthen our local community. Our organization develops the resources and capacities to achieve excellence in every service such as, youth and family guidance, case management, counseling, life coach, finance/ credit counseling, employment training & referrals, housing support/rental assistant (RRH), and job readiness preparation. We advocate for youth and families seeking their path to self-sufficiency, and other structural services. First Church Of The True Believers In Christ/A.C.A. F organization has a wide range of experience including job training, skills development, job placement services, career counseling services to help individuals identify their strengths, interests, and suitable career paths. As well as financial literacy to help individuals manage their income effectively. Undergo training or educational programs aimed at enhancing their skills and making them more competitive in the job market. FCOTTBIC/A.C.A.F is dedicated to providing holistic, individualized support to all participants/clients, and we leverage collaborative partnerships to connect them to a wide range of resources. Our services are rooted in trauma-informed care principles, recognizing the impact of trauma on individuals experiencing hardship. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing and resilience. Recognizing that each person's journey is unique, we develop individualized care plans in collaboration with participants. These plans outline short-term and long-term goals, allowing for a personalized roadmap to recovery and stability. FCOTTBIC/A.C.A. F actively collaborates with a network of local and national partners, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community partners. **OVERVIEW**
In an atmosphere of dignity and respect, A.C.A.F connects people and creates opportunity through access to social services, job training, housing, and food. Each year, Ambassador for Children and Families works with hundreds of resilient Chicagoans who face systemic disparities and inequities, such as homelessness, hunger, and social isolation.

To help individuals and families overcome these barriers, we provide dedicated support coupled with housing, job training, scholarships, meals and engagement services. Ambassador For Children and Families meet people where they are in life, helping them access the support they need and achieve their personal goals. A.C.A.F programs are voluntary, and all service needs and goals are participant/client-driven. Our case management philosophy is strength-based and trauma-informed. A.C.A.F practices harm reduction and focuses on reducing or minimizing the harm associated with high-risk behavior through motivational intervention.
