Dispatcher

**J.P. Noonan Transportation**, New England’s largest petroleum transportation company with ten facilities in five of six New England states, specializes in hauling gasoline, diesel, propane, liquid asphalt, heavy oil, flatbed and cement throughout New England.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Day Shift**:

- **Sunday thru Wednesday**:

- **9 am - 7 pm (10 hours)**:

- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
- Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pick-up times
- Review drivers logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times
- Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules
- Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply

**Job Requirements**:

- **Experience as a Truck Dispatcher in a similar industry**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Transportation Management Software is a plus
- Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Truck Dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
