**Summary**:
Vecta Industrial Cleaning Company is looking for a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Hydroblast Operator and Technician. In this hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in executing high-pressure water blasting operations and supporting the operation of vacuum trucks. Your proficiency in both hydroblasting and vacuum truck operations, along with your commitment to safety and quality, will contribute significantly to the success of our industrial cleaning projects.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Hydroblasting Operations:

- Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment, including hydroblast guns, pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
- Adjust water pressure, flow rates, and nozzle configurations based on specific cleaning requirements and surfaces.
- Perform hydroblasting on industrial equipment, structures, and surfaces as directed by project plans.
- Vacuum Truck Operation:

- Assist in the operation of vacuum trucks for the collection and disposal of waste generated during hydroblasting and other cleaning activities.
- Ensure the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of vacuum truck equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the efficient use of vacuum trucks during projects.
- Safety Compliance:

- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during hydroblasting and vacuum truck operations.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively and ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct pre-job safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.
- Equipment Maintenance:

- Perform routine maintenance checks on hydroblasting and vacuum truck equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly, coordinating with the maintenance team for repairs.
- Keep equipment clean and well-maintained.
- Quality Assurance:

- Execute hydroblasting activities in accordance with quality standards and client specifications.
- Assist in the proper collection, handling, and disposal of waste material to meet environmental compliance standards.
- Document and report any deviations from the cleaning plan or unexpected conditions.
- Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with team members, including project managers and fellow technicians, to plan and execute cleaning projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on project progress and sharing insights.
- Assist other team members as needed to ensure the overall success of the project.

**Job Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hydroblasting, industrial cleaning, or related fields is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Hydroblast Operator and Technician, preferably in an industrial or similar setting.
- Familiarity with hydroblasting equipment, vacuum truck operations, and safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret and follow cleaning plans and specifications.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in physically demanding conditions and environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by project demands.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Valid TWIC card
