Camp Emt

**Overview**:
The Windmill Club is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team. As the Camp Emergency Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to Campers in various settings.

This is a THREE WEEK camp running from June 3 to June 21. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 1:30. We have a maximum of 75 children per week in camp.

**Duties**:

- Respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured
- Care for children and log injuries as per DOH guidlines
- Perform physical examinations and monitor vital signs
- Conduct basic life support procedures
- Assist in critical care situations
- Manage airways and assist with breathing difficulties

**Skills**:

- Experience working in a camp setting or with children
- Ability to perform physical examinations accurately
- Skilled in basic life support techniques
- Knowledge of critical care procedures and protocols
- Strong patient care skills with compassion and empathy
- Competence in airway management procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology commonly used in emergency medicine

**Requirements**:

- Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) (New York State)
- Completion of EMT training program
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

**Job Type**: Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- No weekends
