We are currently looking to fill the role of a Material Handler / Apprentice Set-up Technician to join our team. Moldtronics uses a large variety of different materials. This is a real custom molding shop where troubleshooting skills are pushed to the limit. Mold changes are preformed daily and “it’s not my job” does not exist with us, we are a team and are expected to help and look out for each other. We run automatic, semi auto operator, non-insert and insert jobs. Molds are made and maintained in house. We are a rapidly growing company with a big future ahead of us. **_We will teach you how:_**
- Run a molding machine as an operator.
- Hang & set up molds.
- Fill hoppers / dryers.
- Separate runners.
- Set-up injection molds and the auxiliary equipment required.
- Process all types of resins including many engineering grade resins.
- Troubleshoot equipment, molding processes and cycles.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork.
- Work closely with the team (operators, quality department, and management).
- Keep molding machines / equipment / area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain safe work area in neat and orderly manner.

- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push up to 75 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- We are an ITAR facility and hire only U.S. persons who are defined as U.S. citizens or green card holders.

Must be able to:
Work an 8-hour shift while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; bending; stooping; twisting; use hands to handle items; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
