**Job Summary**:
We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work with children on the autism spectrum. As an RBT, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients. Sessions will take place from 12pm-3pm, Monday through Friday in the client's home in Palos Park IL. Client is new to ABA, hours will increase to 30 hours a week (fulltime) once client and therapist establish relationship.

Our dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and increase socially significant behaviors in home and community settings. RBTs will utilize interventions developed from the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community based environments to children on the autism spectrum
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed and designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff
- Provide a clean, safe, and supportive environment for clients and their families
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behavior
- Attend trainings to acquire further knowledge and professional growth
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans

**Required Qualifications**:

- RBT Certification
- Relevant experience in behavioral therapy
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of valid Illinois drivers license and auto insurance in good standing
- Must have reliable technology to collect data and complete administrative tasks
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Adhere to HIPAA laws and regulations
- Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standards
- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols and writing
- Must maintain a professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up
- Patience, empathy, and dedication to helping children with autism reach their full potential

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Fluent in Uzbek
- Certificate, bachelor’s or associate’s degree in behavioral health or in a related field.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Work Setting**:

- In-home care of clients

**Travel Requirement**:

- No travel requirements. Job is with only 1 client, can increase to 2 clients in the future

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection
- Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements
