Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to perform a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. Duties of the Accounts Receivable Specialist include providing support to our clients and internal management team, and assisting in daily office needs. Ultimately, a successful Accounts Receivable Specialist should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

**Responsibilities**
- Keep an accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances
- Send invoices and account updates to clients electronically or through client invoice portals
- Update our system with payment information and other financial data
- Receive, sort, and track incoming payments
- Process customer payments and post to correct accounts
- Prepare check batches to be deposited into bank accounts
- Process bank deposits
- Address our clients' billing questions and issues
- Prepare reports and review billing activity for accuracy

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years experience in a billing department
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365/Google Docs and QuickBooks
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- An aptitude for customer service
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Aspire CRM preferred but not required

Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
