Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct patient care and lead a team of nurses in delivering exceptional care
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including conducting performance evaluations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and update medical records accordingly
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations and medical procedures such as spinal taps
- Handle critical care situations effectively, including ICU and hospice care
- Ensure compliance with all nursing standards and protocols
- Educate patients and families on healthcare plans and conditions

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in memory care practices for patients with cognitive impairments
- Knowledge of coding procedures for accurate medical documentation
- Experience in dialysis procedures for patients with kidney conditions
- Ability to perform spinal taps for diagnostic purposes
- Strong background in diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Familiarity with ICU protocols and critical care interventions
- Understanding of hospice care principles for end-of-life support
- Knowledge of primary care practices for ongoing patient management
- Ability to address aliment issues and provide appropriate care
- Excellent critical thinking skills to handle complex medical situations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Per diem

Pay: $25.75 - $31.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
