TITLE: SUPERVISING CLINICIAN

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a Qualified Health Professional. MSW or other master’s degree in the helping professions. A Bachelors or Associates Degree may be acceptable with additional experience and previous experience supervising clinicians.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
NYS LMSW, LCSW if applicable. NYS Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) desirable but not required if individual possesses a LMSW or LCSW.

EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated experience in supervision of clinical personnel.

Outpatient or inpatient substance use disorder treatment experience/training preferred.

DUTIES:
1. Provide clinical supervision to the clinicians of the outpatient programs, including direct observation and auditing of medical records

2. Responsible for performance of clinical direct reports and documentation compliance following
OASAS and Medicaid standards

3. Assist with crisis management when needed
4. Conduct educational groups for patients and family members
5. Conduct initial screening interviews for new patients where necessary
6. Conduct therapy groups when needed due to vacation or sickness
7. Provide liaison between the program and referral sources in the community

8. Direct observation of supervisee's clinical services on a quarterly basis
9. Perform additional duties as assigned

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
