Assistant Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for working with the marketing/business development team and Regional Manager(s) to produce proposals, prequals, sources sought including, but not limited to, creative/technical writing, etc.

**_ Assigned Responsibilities:_**
- Act as Proposal Coordinator for RFQs
- Maintain resumes, experience lists, boilerplate, etc.
- Assist marketing staff with proposal preparation as needed
- Maintain/update Unanet/Cosential Database
- Create/prepare Unanet/Cosential Custom Reports
- Schedule, track and coordinate the set-up of events organization-wide
- Interact with Business Development and Operations for event attendee participation and follow-up
- Update/maintain company memberships & assist agencies
- Prepare award submissions
- Provide research and administrative support to Executive VP and VP Business Development
- Participate in weekly BD meetings
- Other duties as assigned

**_
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_**

Exceptional communication and writing skills required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and In Design software. Familiarity with Unanet/Cosential database is helpful.

**_ Education and Training:_**

College degree in marketing, English, or communications, and/or a minimum two (2) years experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat helpful.

**_ Physical Demands:_**
- Involves sitting, walking, stooping, bending, reaching ad lifting.
- Can involve lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

**_ Work Environment:_**
- Work is performed in the office. Noise levels vary.
- General work hours are 8am - 5pm and 5-day work weeks are standard. Note that work hours and workdays may vary (changes, additions, etc.) based on critical work activities.
