Client: State of AZ - AZGFD
- Position: Applications Developer - Req # 1345 (Onsite)

Location: 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ, 85086

Tentative Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (40 Hours/Week).

Closing: 06/04/2024

**Position Description**:

- Proactively solves complex problems.
- Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assigned.
- Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
- Creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Skills Required**:

- Considerable experience working with **multiple database management systems,** **specifically MSSQL, **and multiple development platforms; this includes experience designing and developing web tools.
- Familiar with or have a working knowledge of **AWS products and services**.
- Considerable experience working in an **Agile **work environment.
- Be highly organized to **handle multiple projects**, sprints and deadlines; create project workflows and timelines; project based budgeting.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Work consistently with thoughtfulness, creativity and a high level of detail.

**Skills Preferred**

MSSQL, SQL Server, C#,.NET Core, GitLab

**Work Experience Required**:

- 5 or more years of programming and analysis experience (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in.NET web based systems.
- Experience with Visual Studio.

**Work Experience Preferred**
- Previous experience working in a government agency.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with **WordPress and Pantheon** helpful.

**Education/Training Required**
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar

**Education/Training Preferred**
PMP(Project Management) certification is a plus.
