Residential Addiction Technician

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The support staff will provide supervision and assistance to the residents of the facility in conjunction with the criteria of the program's mission and goals assigned by the resident’s clinical team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
These are the most significant performance factors involved with this position, and they will be the principal factors on which the employee will be evaluated:

- Assist in the admission process of clients into residential treatment, such as bag searches.
- Oversee and inspect housekeeping duties to ensure the cleanliness of the facility and client’s rooms.
- Conduct weekly, unannounced searches on all client residential quarters, all non-residential areas within the facility and building, and all outside grounds. Document searches on the appropriate form.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the location. Restock and sweep.
- Perform meal duties related to shift, including: a) Awaken clients for breakfast. b) Assist with meal delivery or clean up. c) Store and label leftovers properly and in compliance with standard health requirements. d) After the clients clean up after the evening meal, inspect the kitchen area for cleanliness.
- Oversee clients' recreational activities, transport clients to A.A. meetings, clinic appointments, and other functions as requested by supervisor.
- Maintain detailed notes of all incidents occurring during the assigned shift and submit them to the Supervisor by the end of the same shift.
- Complete shift reports through the company platform Basecamp at the end of every shift.
- Attend all monthly mandatory meetings, as directed by the Supervisor.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Commitment to fulfilling RADT registration and certification and commitment to maintaining its compliant status are preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends, nights, midnight shifts, irregular shifts, and holidays.
- Valid California driver's license, provide evidence of vehicle insurance, and be insurable under the company’s insurance policy.
- Ability to work well with clients, associates and the public; work references will be required.
- Must pass a background check

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
