Energy Auditor

iAG Energy is an environmental firm helping companies comply with numerous Local Laws throughout the five boroughs of New York.

We are looking to hire an Energy Auditor to conduct Energy Audits and generate reports for Local Laws 87 and 97. The goal of the Energy Engineer is to analyze solutions to reduce energy consumption, in a cost-effective approach by evaluating the electrical and mechanical process in addition to the building infrastructure.

iAG Energy is open to hiring an engineer with any of the following licenses:

- CEM (Certified Energy Manager)
- CBCP (Building Commissioning Agent)
- CEA (Certified Energy Auditor)
- PE (Professional Engineer)

The Energy Auditor's time would be spent traveling throughout the five boroughs of New York so applicants must be comfortable traveling to different sites on a daily basis and have a reliable source of transportation.

Energy Auditor Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct Energy Audits throughout the five boroughs of NY
- Work on Energy Calculations and Carbon Savings Calculations
- Produce Energy Reports based on audits
- Communicate with Clients when questions arise

Energy Auditor Previous Experience Required:

- Experience with Energy Calculations and Carbon Saving Calculations Preferred
- Familiarity with Base Buildings Systems
- Familiarity with Steam, Hydronic, and VRF Heating Systems
- Understanding of Local Laws 84, 87, and 97

Experience and Education:

- One or more of the following licenses: CEM, CBCP, CEA, or PE

We are open to training for the right fit, compensation will depend on amount of training required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
