Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Assembler I - 2nd shift (Dept 08) to join our team in South Milwaukee, WI

The hourly rate for this position is $20.55 per hour + $2.50/hr shift premium. The core hours are 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

**This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding**.
- Bonus terms:

- Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 1st, 2024 to qualify.
- Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
- Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
- Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment

**What you’ll do**:
The Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and sub assembly for various standard product lines.

**In this function, you will**:

- Utilize work instructions and builds of material to complete various tasks.
- Perform some complicated sub-assembly operations, usually limited to a specific standard procedure - on a repetitive basis.
- Complete paperwork, enter labor, and confirm production.
- Set-up workstation to facilitate easier assembly and operate independently or on a group basis.
- Screen defective parts or make adjustments as necessary.
- Interact with other departments as needed for advice and decisions.

**Qualifications**:
**Required (Basic) Qualifications**:

- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

**Skills**:

- Must be able to walk/stand for 8-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to lift up to 44 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to read and use drawings, routings, blueprints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position.
- Knowledge of soldering
