**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
***: Under supervision of OR staff, assist in surgery department operations through supplying, stocking, cleaning, assembling, and storing of equipment and supplies while maintaining a clean environment. Transports patients, equipment and supplies as needed.
- Assists RN/Charge RN/LPN with direct patient care, as requested, i.e., moving, aligning, and positioning patient according to established policy, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Assists with patient prep under the supervision of the LPN, RN/Charge RN, as requested.
- Provides intra-hospital patient transportation to the OR/Holding Area, safely and according to policy and procedure.
- Contributes to a culture of patient centered care by ensuring a quiet healing environment.

**What qualifications you will need**:

- High School Diploma/GED required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
