Medical Assisstant

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic life support measures when necessary
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Conduct patient intake, including vital signs and medical history documentation
- Prepare patients for various medical tests and procedures, such as X-rays
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health issues
- Support physicians in specialized areas like Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Hospital Medicine, and Internal Medicine
- Handle patient service duties efficiently and professionally

Qualifications:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in medication administration and inhalation techniques
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and procedures
- Strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.25 - $24.39 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
