Cad Drafter

Job Overview:
We currently have over 4 single family luxury home projects under development. Most of our projects starts off with acquisition, design, and development.

Pay: $40 to $60 per hour

Schedule:

- Our Office is open Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm. You will have the flexibility to work any time you like within those parameters. Work from home is possible with some hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of construction assemblies and best practices, actively coordinating design and equipment with consultants and other disciplines.
- Prepare and deliver architectural drawings, exhibiting proficiency in drafting plans and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Liaise with city/county authorities and related organizations, promptly following through Agency List, planning submissions, resubmissions, and permit submissions.
- Showcase advanced knowledge of California-specific building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques.
- Manage time and workload efficiently to meet project deadlines and commitments, while maintaining periodic interaction and direction from project leaders.
- Take ownership of completing the final Draft Plan for Permits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and Minimum of 3 years architectural drafter-related work experience in the Los Angeles area, demonstrating a full understanding of architectural practices, site planning, and building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding graphic design, communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, an independent and analytical mindset, attentive listening abilities, and a commitment to follow through.
- Project management experience 1 year is a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering positive working relationships with other design professionals.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Revit: 1 year (preferred)
