Summary:
Responsible for the Implementation of the Quality Improvement Program (See QI Plan). Responsible for Quality Assurance as it relates to clinical documentation and organizational compliance. Assist Vice President of Compliance and Clinical Director in management of the EMRs and monitoring of daily entry and reporting as per the needs of the PMDC programs and organization. Interrelationship: Must have the ability to communicate all pertinent information relating to Quality and Compliance to Program & Corporate Staff through a consistent method of reporting. Make recommendations based on findings to incorporate in plan of corrections developed by Vice President of Compliance for personnel who do not follow workflows and/or policies & procedures that have been implemented by PMDC management team as it relates to ensuring Quality Assurance and Compliance to program requirements, payors, and all governing agencies relevant to our services and programs.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure all Clinical Documentation is maintained in the EMRs as per the MHRS and FSMHC Standards.
- Ensure all programs and services are in compliance with DBH regulations
- Daily quality assurance wellness calls to assess quality of services and client satisfaction
- Conduct wellness visits within the community and complete documentation for all visits.
- Track, manage and report on wellness calls
- Collaborates with department directors/managers to resolve continued noncompliance with standards.
- Participate in weekly Clinical Meetings to give suggestions and feedback on documentation and QA matters.
- Reports incidents, accidents, and occurrences in accordance with state regulations and CARF
- Daily review of documentation to assess trends and how
- Ensure staff continually measure and assess services and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure all Medical Records are managed and maintained as per Record Keeping Policy
- Conduct internal audits and report findings.
- Serve as part of Quality Assurance team in preparation of Quality Assurance Action Plans
- Attend meetings to present Quality Assurance findings and reports
- Work closely with leadership and staff regarding audits and client rights issues

Job Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with Electronic Health Records systems.

Education/Experience: Quality Assurance Coordinator requires minimum of one (1) year experience in Quality Assurance/Improvement and/or bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University.
