**Job Summary**:
This role is for an individual who drives and coordinates the implementation of the global equipment product portfolio in all market segments (strategic, mainstream, economy or commercial transport after-market) for the given geographic region. Equipment is defined as key needed equipment to work with our paint products and/or to improve key customer processes. It does not include consumables like sanding paper, masking tape, etc. Tasks will also include involvement in projects from other workstreams, like packaging and production.

He/she is responsible for management and delivery of projects within the assigned region, add new products, sunset products which are to be obsoleted or otherwise manage product change within the respective region.

It is key to build an understanding of the customer product requirements and processes related to product-technical-color requirements. This includes understanding of the market landscape, competitive intelligence and emerging new trends. Next to this, a thorough understanding of internal workstreams and processes is key to be successful.

The incumbent must have a close interaction with the other marketing, sales and technical teams in the assigned region in order to understand any market needs and to deliver the global initiatives within the respective region. Understanding underlying needs of all workstreams and local teams, plus the ability to influence without having direct reporting lines, are key factors to success.

The position will report to and receive guidance from the Global Equipment Leader and reciprocate with new needs and trends within the market.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Regional execution of Global Equipment Project Plan.
- Support the short, mid, and long-term customer strategy in the different sales channels.
- Implement Value Proposition.
- Drive implementation of product marketing initiatives into the regional sales organization.
- Facilitate the development of strategic customer offers.
- Support sales growth.
- Drive regional implementation of initiatives in strong collaboration with Strategic Marketing, MarCom and local teams.
- Monitor regional insights of distributors, customer, and consumer needs.
- Stay connected and interact with regional sales teams to jointly drive growth.
- Execute segment strategic initiatives within the region.
- Collect market & technical input from regional organizations and provide input to global equipment leader.
- Establish overview, knowledge & understanding of the customer needs with regards to equipment and customer process optimization.
- Understand competitive landscape and market drivers within the segment.
- Liaise with sales and technical teams to provide required product support to customers.
- Support implementation with respective country.
- Maintain relationships with aligned country functions needed for project and product implementation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business economics or related discipline and/or at least 3-5 years of Automotive Refinish industry experience.
- Proven success in sales, marketing, R&D, and/or product management within the coatings, chemical, collision repair, automotive, or other industrial segment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify process and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Technical knowledge and experience in managing new product development and product support programs.
- Understanding of product life-cycle management.
- Demonstrated success in project management.
- Understanding of customer processes and competitive market dynamics.
- Passion for, and ideally experience with, sales and marketing of equipment where process improvement and sustainability are key components of the value proposition.
- Excellent understanding of automotive after-market place and end user’s needs.
- Strong business acumen, market intelligence and analytic skills to implement strategy.
- Strong coordination skills to motivate internal workstreams to eliminate roadblocks.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders to align and deliver common objectives.
- Travel required: approx. 5-10%.
