Maintenace Technician

The Equipment Maintenance Tech role at Rochester Electronics in Newburyport, MA, involves supporting a range of electromechanical process equipment. The primary responsibilities include performing routine preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on production equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment based on drawings, diagrams, manuals, and verbal instructions.
- Utilize various hand tools and meters for maintenance tasks.
- Calibrate production equipment and maintain necessary records.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment and keep accurate records.
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve complex equipment issues and document corrective actions.
- Develop and update preventative maintenance and calibration specifications as needed.
- Identify and implement equipment modifications to enhance performance and reliability.
- Assist in bringing new equipment online in coordination with Engineering and facilities.
- Emphasize safety and housekeeping in job duties.
- Potentially participate in cross-functional project teams.
- Understand and adhere to work environment regulations, such as OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Preparation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- ASEE Degree in Electronics/Electro or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in equipment support is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic hand tools and meters.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
