Overview:
The Undergraduate Program Administrator at the School of Architecture is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the undergraduate program and managing all aspect of the Urban Studies Minor Program and the Architecture and Engineering Minor. This position will work closely with the Academic Programs Manager, Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS), and the Director of the Urban Studies Program. The incumbent will interface between the undergraduate students, the Office of the Registrar, the Office of the Dean of the College, and other administrative units. The person in this position is outgoing, detail orientated, able to work independently as well as with a team, and enthusiastic about supporting undergraduate students.

**Responsibilities**:
**Undergraduate Program Responsibilities**
- Recruit students to the undergraduate program within and outside of Princeton
- Review, update and communicate requirements for Architecture undergraduate degree to students, disseminating student policies and pertinent information through multiple media outlets including print, website and social media
- Analyze and update degree progress reports to ensure that students are meeting department and graduation requirements, discussing with Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) and students as required
- Collaborate with the Academic Programs Manager and the DUS to schedule all Department undergraduate courses including planning and maintenance of existing courses, assistance with new course requests, room scheduling, precept/lab scheduling, etc. following course scheduling policies
- Serve as the liaison between the Office of the Dean of the College and the Office of the Registrar on issues related to undergraduate course scheduling, grading, enrollment, academic progress and degree completion
- Collaborate with the DEI office with recruiting and retaining students
- Responsible to manage CIS system for term courses, scheduling departmental exams and independent work schedules (Senior Thesis and JP).
- Collaborate with engineering to manage the Architecture and Engineering Minor
- Responsible for organizing and executing the undergraduate portion of recruiting events such as the Princeton Preview, Academic Expo, Open House, etc and for departmental events including Welcome to SoA, Class Day, Graduation, Senior Dinner, etc. with other departmental staff
- Create connections with high-schools that focus on architecture
- Collaborate with studio faculty and events planner for scheduling studio travel twice per year, each during winter and spring break
- Oversee key processes for seniors, including advisor selection, Senior Thesis submission to Mudd Library, Thesis Awards, and Departmental honors
- Manage undergraduate admissions portfolio review process
- Respond to student and prospective student inquires, assisting students with leaves of absence and support services
- Collaborate with the business manager to process SAFE requests

**Urban Studies Minor Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the complete administration of the Urban Studies Minor, a program open to all undergraduates from all disciplines across campus
- Collaborate with the Director and Associated Faculty in migrating the program from a Certificate to a Major/Minor
- Manage communications and outreach to interested students to grow the program
- Run reports and track progress using TigerHub ensuring all course requirements are met
- Review courses that count toward the minor with the Director of Urban Studies including cross-listed courses; provide this information on the Urban Studies website and to the Registrar Degree Progress Report
- Plan, organize and execute Urban Studies activities including Class Day, Academic Expo, Career Conversations, the Urban Thesis Symposium, Senior Thesis Colloquium, Spring Princeton Preview, and the Research Methods Workshops in collaboration with the Princeton Mellon Initiative
- Manage program budget, track expenses, and provide financial reports to the Director
- Confirm associated faculty annually; manage invitations to new associate faculty
- Maintain and update the Princeton Urban Studies website and listserv
- Correspond with inquiries regarding the Urban Studies Program including elective exception requests
- Hire and supervise student workers

**Career Advisor Responsibilities**
- Manage and collaborate with other campus units to track undergraduate and graduate program students' job placement and employment data
- Manage and collaborate with other campus units to offer job fairs for undergraduate and graduate architecture students
- Manage the SoA Summer Workstudy Program, placing graduate students with faculty for summer research and practice positions
