We are looking for motivated individuals that are creative and have the ability to work in a fast-paced floral design environment.

At Monica's Brides and Touch of Glitz Flowers 90% of our business comes from weddings and quinceañeras. We are looking to add Floral Designers to our team as we approach the busy wedding season.

Responsibilities include:

- Creating floral arrangements including wedding centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, funeral sprays, funeral plant/floral baskets, and everyday floral orders.
- Receiving, processing and storing flowers upon delivery.
- Cleaning and washing buckets.
- Assisting walk-in floral shop customers.
- Occasionally answering shop phone line to assist customers.
- Cleaning up shop to ensure it is presentable at all times.
- Conduct classes or demonstrations to train new staff on processes.
- Assist with delivery and setup of events.
- Any other tasks assigned.

**Floral Designer Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven floral design experience.
- Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Artistic and creative.
- Detail-oriented.
- Bilingual is a Plus.

Good attitudes and reliable transportation are a must.

**Taking Floral design in High School DOES NOT count as experience.**

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Floral Design: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
