Science Summer Camp Instructor

**Love making science come alive for children? Love incorporating hands on learning? We need YOU to bring the FUN and Enthusiasm to our Science Summer Camp Program**

Science Explorers runs hands-on science camps for children ages 4-11. This camp program will run:
**Moravian Academy, 1100 S. 24th Street, Allentown, PA 18103**
- Week of 7/8, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm, Ages 7-11
- Week of 7/15, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm, ages 4-6 Junior Explorers
- Week of 7/22, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm, Ages 7-11

We provide all materials, curriculum, and paid training We schedule one instructor and one assistant instructor for each week of camp, so you get to work as a team.
Our pay is $550 for a full day week and $295 for a half day week (assistants are paid $430 and $230 respectively). We offer fun topics in many areas of science such as Chemistry, Engineering, Astronomy, Marine Biology and more
- **This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position**:

- **COMMITMENT IS ESSENTIAL Once the schedule is set and materials are sent, it is of the UTMOST importance that you stick to the schedule for the full week of camp.**:

- **There is an opportunity to work 1 or more weeks of camp.**:

- **Some teaching/instructing/tutoring experience is required**:

- **Up-to-date clearances are required (background checks, CPR, child abuse certificate, etc)**:

- **In-person or zoom training**:

- **Reliable transportation is required**

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $325.00 - $600.00 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Driver's License (preferred)
- PA Clearances (preferred)
