Loyola Academy seeks a motivated and experienced Major Gifts Officer to join our team in the Advancement department. The Advancement team is committed to making a meaningful impact to the Loyola community by cultivating lifelong engagement and inspiring philanthropy. The Major Gifts Officer will play a crucial role in cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations to secure significant financial support for Loyola Academy. This individual will work closely with a team of three other Major Gift Officers and a robust Advancement team to develop and implement strategies to maximize philanthropic contributions.**

**This full time, exempt position reports to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to**:
**Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations.**Develop and execute personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for each prospect and donor in the portfolio.**Identify and qualify new prospects through research, networking, and collaboration with colleagues.**Collaborate with the Advancement team to align major gifts strategies with overall fundraising goals and priorities.**Work closely with senior leadership, board members, and volunteers to engage prospects and solicit major gifts.**Utilize the Loyola’s Raiser's Edge donor database to track interactions and document progress.**Represent Loyola Academy at events, meetings, and conferences to promote awareness and build relationships within the philanthropic community.**Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in major gifts fundraising.**

**REQUIRED CREDENTIALS**Bachelor's Degree preferred**Minimum of three years experience in major gifts fundraising or a closely related field**Proven track record of successfully soliciting**Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders**Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively**Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with mínimal supervision**Proficiency in donor management software, excel and Google workplace**Strong alignment and commitment to the mission and values of Loyola Academy**
