Austin, United States Meals on Wheels of Central Texas Full time

The Graphic Designer will create, execute, and deliver a wide range of creative materials including print and digital graphics to support and extend the brand of Meals on Wheels Central Texas (MOWCTX) to all external constituents. This is a full-time position eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities include:

- In partnership with the CAO, Director of Marketing, senior leaders, and all departments and individuals wishing to communicate with any and all external audiences, develop and adhere to a coherent and consistent brand style for MOWCTX.
- Act as the creative lead on various projects from conception to delivery.
- Create all external-facing collaterals requested by the organization, including but not limited to direct mail, newsletters, infographics, presentation decks, fliers, mailers, brochures, ads, etc.
- Work with Director of Marketing and others to maintain and update the MOWCTX website in those areas under our control.
- Be receptive and responsive to feedback on design ideas from internal clients and external audiences while also respecting the brand’s design standards and strategy.
- Become and serve as a brand ambassador for MOWCTX.

The ideal Graphic Designer should have:

- Associates degree in graphic design or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of direct production experience including graphic and website experience
- Nonprofit and/or agency experience preferred
- Impeccable commitment to servant-leadership and an absolute unwillingness to accept mediocrity
- Demonstrate knowledge of design best practices
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to exceed goals across multiple areas of focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the organization and with outside constituencies
- Team player that inspires those around you
- Demonstrate good judgment, confidentiality, tact and poise at all times
- Self-starter who is driven by results
- Experience with all relevant design platforms and software, e.g. Adobe Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, WordPress, PowerPoint

This position constantly performs work indoors; reads information on a computer monitor and in writing; moves and uses limbs to work; requires good manual dexterity and coordination. Frequently presents information to variable audiences and moves about to access office equipment/machinery. Occasionally walks to perform work, travels locally, works nights/weekends and lifts objects up to 20 pounds.
