**Summary**:We are seeking a Planning Associate required to support the educational mandate

**Job Title**:Planning Associate**

**Location: New York, NY 10019**

**Target Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM**

**Target Duration/End Date: May 2026**

**Description of Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Performing utilization, space needs analyses, programming, and feasibility studies throughout all locations. Involves physical, in-person work throughout multiple locations through NYC
- Managing and updating various datasets and the space inventory system
- Providing database and report development support
- Qualifications and Core Competencies

**Mandatory/Minimum Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements**:
Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s degree in Architectural, Interior Design, Planning, Business or related education, experience, or background

**Mandatory Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years Project Management/Coordination experience, ideally with large institutions
- Experience working in and managing a diverse team environment
- Project Management and scheduling Software (ex: Microsoft Project)
- AutoCAD
- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
- Adobe Suite (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Ability to work under existing, as well as create new, project schedules and plans.
- Ability to manage a project and a team, working to achieve project goals independently with that team
- Ability to shift between working independently and setting internal goals, to working closely with a small team

**Preferable Qualifications**:

- Certification from a recognized Planning Organization
- Planning experience in a New York State publicly funded organization
