**The Opportunity**:
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Custodian team members to join our team at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for performing custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, restocking paper and soap supplies and keeping the property neat, clean, and free from clutter.

**Pay**:
$15.90 - $15.90 / hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Sweep and clean facilities including bathrooms, carpets, walls, windows, break rooms, offices, empty trash, replace liners, dusting and all other duties as assigned.
- Pressure washes concrete surfaces and operate commercial cleaning equipment as needed.
- Stock closets and replenish paper products in the restrooms.
- Report any visible defects to the on-duty supervisor and implement process improvements.
- Respond to guest inquiries providing accurate courteous information.
- Train in safety awareness and follow safety and environmental business practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Must have a valid driver's license and your own transportation to and from work.
- 6 months experience in custodial and related services preferred.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to 40 or more pounds.
- Must have ability to reach above head level.
- May be required to work twelve to fifty feet (or more) above the ground on ladders or high lift or scissor lifts.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- May be required to work in hot and humid conditions.
- Must be able to work inside and outside with exposure to heat, dirt, noise, fumes, wetness, paint and solvents.
