**_General Overview_**

Provide coaching, teaching, guidance and support for OSC-Chicagobility youth (ages 14-15) cohort participants. Coaches will develop and facilitate a curriculum designed to deliver a project-based program for youth 14 and 15 years old youth. Coaches will provide youth with soft skills and enrichment activities. Coaches will provide individual and group support, encouragement, guidance, advice, and instructions. Coaches play a dual role, establishing meaningful relationships with youth while reinforcing the development of skills and knowledge that youth gain through participation in the program. The youth to coach ratio will be up to 20 youth to 1 coach. The agency can recruit peer coaches to assist with staffing from the BGCC SYEP pool of youth that are in the older age bracket, 16 to 24 years old.

**_Essential Functions of the position:_**
- Provide a tangible summer experience.
- Participate in OSC Chicagobility Youth orientation and onboarding
- Implement a project-based program that offers youth career exploration and employment skills development: STEAM Projects/Career Readiness/Career Exploration.
- Ensure all required documents are uploaded and collected.
- Input all attendance in Cityspan.
- Ensure youth have a MCMF account, and participate in workshops
- Provide guidance and support for youth workers while reinforcing the development of skills and knowledge that youth gain through program participation.
- Collect time sheets and verify attendance.
- Ensure timesheets are submitted to immediate supervisor before payroll deadline **Friday by 5:00pm**:

- Report complaints from host sites and/or youth worker to the Project Manager.
- Ensure youth workers completion of the on-line financial literacy and workforce development trainings.
- Coach youth one on one when necessary.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- High School Diploma/GED or experience working with youth 2+ Years.
- Preferred Experience: Working with youth and young adults of diverse cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds.
- Ability to work with at youth and those who are risk youth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
