Atmosphere Representative

Overview:
Daily work will involve acting as the the second shift point of contact between operations and the shipyard competent persons, assigning work accordingly throughout the shift, and resolving problems and issues with atmosphere analysis in the shipyard. The second shift Atmosphere Representative role will report to the Engineering Supervisor for D. 506 who oversees atmosphere services. They will aid the supervisor to ensure support for operations on second shift and provide turn overs to third shift employees for work assignments.

Qualifications:
**Required**:

- High school diploma or GED
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA's confined space regulations and knowledge of fire safety
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipyard production/manufacturing
- Internal applicants must be from an organization outside the Operations Organizations (Casciano/Gabriel)

**Preferred**:

- A BS degree in science, management, safety or equivalent
