**What we do**:
Through our proprietary automated sales and marketing platform, Mastermind, we empower dealers to close more deals by predicting future buyers and consistently marketing to them. In short, we help automotive dealerships generate success in their loyalty, service, and conquest portfolios through a combination of turnkey predictive analytics, proactive marketing, and dedicated consultative services.

**JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY**:
**A Successful Database Administrator will**:

- Design, implement, and maintain the company’s databases.
- Manage database security and access.
- Troubleshoot database issues.
- Work with the engineering teams to design and optimize queries.
- Work with the DevOps and IT team during Disaster Recovery exercises and ISO 27001 certification.
- Provide support to engineering and customer support teams.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or another related field
- 2 to 5 years of working experience with PostGres on Cloud SQL (Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong understanding of database design and implementation.
- Experience working on a SAAS or PAAS product.
- Experience with database security and backup/restore procedures.
- Experience fine-tuning queries and database.
- Knowledge of SQL execution plan and Index B-tree structure
- Knowledge of high-availability architecture (database replication including WAL technology).
- Knowledge of microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling (Star and Snowflake schema).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills (long-running queries, slow responses).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with BigQuery (querying, partitioning, storage optimization)

**Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)**:

- S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,100 to $115,800. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
- In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Pay: $64,100.00 - $133,100.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Database administration: 2 years (required)
- PostgreSQL: 2 years (preferred)
