Assistant Project Manager

Gorham Sand & Gravel (GSG) is seeking an assistant construction project manager to help manage projects ranging from small residential projects to large-scale commercial, municipal, or industrial jobs. Assistant project managers have an opportunity to learn and training will be provided.

Construction Project Manager Job Responsibilities
- Represents GSG at project meetings
- Obtains and ensures compliance with necessary regulations and permits
- Provide project submittals
- Solicit and compare quotes for subcontracts and supplies
- Work from 7:00AM to 5:00 M-F
- Orders project materials to maintain schedule and workflow
- Manages multiple projects
- Communicates with clients and Project Managers to deliver monthly project progress reports and billings
- Collaborates with engineers, subcontractors, and other specialists
- Review and approve or deny project related expenses

- Proficient with Computers, Microsoft Office products,
- Ability to communicate effectively and take direction
