**A busy and growing chiropractic office**

**Front desk**:
Applicants must be able to:

- Be VERY ORGANIZED
- Greet patients with a smile and treat them and fellow co-workers with respect
- Keep an open mind regarding chiropractic philosophy
- Have an energetic personality
- Communicate well with other assistants and the Chiropractor/Owner
- Must have computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher)
- Work with multiple schedules i.e Morning, Afternoon or Evening
- Be flexible and be able to adapt on the fly
- Be willing to learn new procedures and skills

Responsibilities Include:

- Checking-in and checking-out patients
- Scheduling patient for appointments and therapies
- Collecting copays
- Answering multi-phone lines, working a fax machine & credit card machine
- Keeping the office clean and tidy
- Understanding Insurances
- Making recalls to patients that have fallen off the schedule.
- Approaching patient regarding balance on account
- Putting patients on therapies

This position is Part-Time. Days and hours will vary. Hours may increase with time.

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
