Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist is a member of the Business Office & Human Resources team and conducts activities related to the preparation, processing and distribution of semi-monthly & semi-weekly payrolls.
Qualified applicants will have their Associate Degree in accounting or proven payroll experience.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING:
- Minimum three years experience in payroll operations
- Proven work experience with employee benefit programs
- Knowledge of Governmental Accounting procedures
- Excellent Communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills - must be a team player
- Ability to secure confidential information
