About us: Crossroads Care Center of Pewaukee is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility located in Pewaukee conveniently off I-94. Offering a home like environment with a dedicated and caring staff, with resident safety and well-being always at the focus of all resident care.

Crossroads Care Center of Pewaukee is currently looking to add dedicated and professional Medication Assistants (Med-Techs) to our strong and dependable nursing team. **_All Medication Assistants must be CNA Certified and have passed the Medication Assistant program through the state of Wisconsin._**

**Shift Times**:
Day Shift - 06:00-14:30

Evening Shift - 14:00-22:30 $3.00/hr Shift Diff

Noc Shift - 22:00-06:30
- Follow current standards of hygiene, safety, and infection control when handling, storing, and disposing of medications.
- Take and record vital sings upon administration of medications when required
- Recognized the residents right to refuse medication.
- Notifies the appropriate RN/LPN when making the decision not to administer medication or treatment.
- Clarifies any order or treatment regimen believed to be inaccurate, ineffective, or contraindicated by consulting with the appropriate licensed nurse (RN/LPN)
- Monitors residents who self-administer medications and report deviation from the plan of care to the licensed nurse (RN/LPN)
- Secured Medication Card
- Removed Discontinued, outdated, or deteriorated drugs from inventory.
- Recognizes and reports unsafe conditions for medication provision.
- Accurately documents medication provision.
- Recognizes and reports general reactions to medications
