**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plans, prepares, and executes developmentally-supportive math lessons in accordance with Oakwood’s Math department learning outcomes;
- Collaborates with fellow Math teachers in designing and developing curriculum;
- Maintains regular communication with student-support team members: parents, teachers, student services, deans, and other administrators and updates an organized assignment calendar and gradebook in Oakwood School’s learning management system;
- Serves as a middle school advisor to facilitate Oakwood’s social-emotional learning curriculum, and
- Constructively contributes to department and faculty meetings, as well as parent conferences and open houses; engages in regular communication with parents and administrators; and occasional supervisory duties.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant Middle School teaching experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including a high degree of cultural competency
- Dedication to the whole-person development of young people, including an enthusiasm for positive identity development and diversity, equity, and inclusion work
- Proficient computer skills with Google Drive and Microsoft Windows office products, as well as with Desmos, Delta Math, and the TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator

Expected compensation: $68,896 - $80,944
